  • Producer

Jake Prine got his start as a self-produced writer, debuting with his short film "Moustache" (2020). Creating a network of like-minded collaborators allowed him to quickly land himself on the Chicago sets for the drama series "The Chi" and the comedy series "Work in Progress” (both on Showtime). His background as a video marketing manager for UW Madison has since allowed Prine to parlay his practical, on-set experience into overseeing the technical needs of Chicago indie projects such as Grant Troyer's "Tagged" (2022) and CJ Vecchio's "Evil's Revenge" (2022), as well as creative producing and consulting jobs on a host of other indie shorts and web series. Prine is currently producing Kernel Production’s "Twain, Cancelled" and "F*ck You, Big Pharma" (both slated for release in 2023) while developing his own sci-fi horror project titled "The Gub.”
